We have develooped a free PHP library (http://www.phpdocx.com)to generate Dynamical MS Word documents (.docx)and we tried to contact Microsoft about some licensing issues with no answer whatsoever.
It seems, not only because this marginal fact, that they prefer to keep their open standards "closed" for developers in PHP.

I asked Microsoft and they said that looking at your message they cannot tell cannot tell which license you are asking about.

If you are asking for a redistributable license, SDK v1 already has given out the redistributable license.

For V2, it is in CTPs and there are breaking changes in between CTP versions. So they do not recommend users to develop commercial products based on the CTPs.

They will be releasing the final V2 together with Office 2010. And they will give out the redistributable license for the final v2.
